𝐏.𝐒.𝐔. – 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

Being an extensive institution, the PSU – HRMDO has conducted a Workforce Training entitled Workplace Security: Upskilling a Responsive Security Personnel which was attended by all University Guards at the Dr. Telesforo Boquiren Convention Hall this 26th day of November 2021. 

The objective of this seminar was to provide the University Guards certain awareness, recognition, additional information, and understanding in their work which will improve their productivity. It is also another way of motivating them to love and appreciate their work, for they are one of the essential assets of the institution. 

As Police Lieutenant Colonel Kimberly E. Molitas, the speaker, stated that “Hindi lang ang trabaho niyo” which is a great insight since most of the security guards think of their profession as less integral. She has also pointed out that in terms of security if not manpower is added therefore technologies should be, or the other way around. 

The Training Engagement was intended to aid the Security Guards to connect, build alliances, and familiarize themselves with the agencies where they are appointed. The speaker had great interactions with the University Guards whereby concerns were raised and given importance. As a SUC Level IV institution, the Pangasinan State University will keep on aspiring to become a better institution as a center of excellence.
