Social Area
Each campus has its own social area to cater wherein university meetings, trainings, graduation ceremonies, and other events take place. The social areas are engineered for the accessibility and comfort of hundreds and even thousands of students and employees for their social gatherings. These venues can also be availed by non-PSUnians as well.

Pangasinan State University erected various social areas to each campus, and has designated social areas outside of the campus through its partnership with the Provincial Government of Pangasinan and other local government units.

Sison auditorium

The Sison Auditorium has a lavish interior design with a touch of American architecture which makes it suitable to accommodate hundreds PSUnians and guests. This place is commonly housed for university cultural events, sports festivals, and stakeholders conferences.

The auditorium is located at the south of the PSU Main Campus, managed by the Provincial Government of Pangasinan. It was built during the from 1926 to 1927 for cultural shows before, during, and after the World War II. It was named after Governor Teofilo Sison, the first Pangasinense secretary of National Defense.

Convention halls

Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall-Lingayen Campus

PSUnians of all nine campuses convene at the Telesforo H. Boquiren Convention Hall as it is placed at the Main Campus, making it the premier site for university-wide events. This iconic hall has hosted most of the grandest occasions such as local and international institutional accreditations, benchmarking activities, Christmas parties, and even music concerts.

It was in honor of the late Dr. Telesforo H. Boquiren, the first president of Pangasinan State University. When Dr. Dexter R. Buted came to presidency, the convention hall was renovated transforming it to a more convivial atmosphere for PSUnians.

Senator Leticia Ramos -Shahani Convention Hall – Sta. Maria Campus

The Senator Leticia Ramos -Shahani Convention Hall is a wide indoor venue that can cater to all PSUnians in Sta. Maria Campus. It can accommodate about a thousand people. It is named after the Leticia Ramos-Shahani, former Pangasinense senator of the Philippines and sister of the former President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Fidel V. Ramos.

Audio visual rooms

Audio-visual rooms (AVR) are provided to facilitate small indoor gatherings such as seminars and lectures that utilize information and communication technology (ICT) equipment for audio-visual presentations. All AVRs of the university are branded with modern architecture in royal blue hues. Built-in seats are cushioned and attached with a retractable armrest that is fitted for placing laptops and notebooks.

MUlti purpose halls

Multi-purpose halls are open-aired wide spaces structured to serve formal and informal social gatherings. These halls have natural light and ventilation which make them sizeable for outdoor and group activities.

LIMAHONG CENTER

Limahong center is an indoor social hall and an iconic layover at  the Limahong Channel Tourism Center, Lingayen, Pangasinan. This is an alternative venue for planning conferences and stakeholders meeting. It is also one of the go-to places recommended by PSUnians when there are guests from outside the province for them to catch the view of the Lingayen gulf.

The center is named after Limahong, a Chinese pirate who retreated in Pangasinan when attempting to invade the Philippines against the Spanish colony in the early 16th century.

CAPITOL RESORT

The Capitol Resort is an ideal place for meetings with guests from other provinces for it is the preferred rest house for them as tourists after university events.

URDUJA HOUSE

The Urduja House is another accredited social area by PSU for university conferences and seminars.

It is adored for its Balinese exterior and classical Filipino-themed interiors. It is named after the Tawalisi warrior princess Urduja, whose legend is honored in the province of Pangasinan.

This historical building is the official residence of the official government built in 1953. Nowadays, it is open for social gatherings to which PSU enjoys such privilege.
