The full-day program brought together teachers, researchers, and professionals seeking practical skills in starting research, publishing manuscripts, and improving academic visibility in a structured, hands-on format.

Morning Lecture 1, โ€œSTART SMART,โ€ led by Dr. Vladimir Marie E. Cabutotan, guided participants in conducting literature reviews and crafting strong Statements of the Problem. A workshop immediately applied these principles.

Lecture 2, โ€œPUBLISH RIGHT,โ€ delivered by Dr. Rhowel Dellosa, focused on manuscript preparation, journal selection, submission processes, and peer review management, followed by an interactive workshop for practical experience.

Afternoon Lecture 3, โ€œBE SEEN,โ€ by Dr. Randy Joy Ventayen, explored increasing research visibility through academic profiles, online platforms, citation strategies, and digital tools, reinforced by hands-on exercises.

PSUโ€™s Technical Working Group (TWG) managed on-site logistics, technical support, and coordination at PSUโ€“Lingayen, ensuring smooth execution of lectures, workshops, and program activities for all participants.

Attendees highlighted the trainingโ€™s relevance beyond teaching, praising its guidance on research, publication, and professional visibility, and acknowledging its impact for educators and non-teaching professionals alike.

The program concluded with a closing ceremony recognizing the speakers, organizers, facilitators, and participants for their contributions to a successful and engaging training.

The CPD Unit, led by Dr. Vladimir Marie E. Cabutotan, expressed gratitude to University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas and Vice President for Local and International Affairs Dr. Ian D. Evangelista for their continued support, emphasizing PSUโ€™s commitment to initiatives that strengthen research competencies and professional growth.
