Following its green campaign, Pangasinan State University ventured into another tree planting activity, June 25.
PSU, through its Research, Extension and Innovation (REI) Division headed by Vice President Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, in partnership with the Association of Regional Executives in Region I (AREX-1), trekked the Daang Kalikasan in Mangatarem, Pangasinan for the greening activity.
𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬, and 𝐕𝐏 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐲 said that the activity aims to contribute to the environmental conservation efforts in the community and promote a greener and more sustainable future.
Around 300 seedlings provided by AREX-1 were planted in the said activity actively participated in by representatives of government agencies as members of the association.
Meanwhile, the PSU team was led by the University Extension Director, Dr. Armando Junio, gathering REI centerheads, university amd campus officials, faculty and student organizations.
