The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Regional Office I visited Pangasinan State University for the deliberation of funds relative to the implementation of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES), Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and ACEF-GIAHEP on May 17, 2023 at the PSU Golden Lion Hotel.
Fund-related topics were discussed and clarified by CHED RO I in the person of Ms. Catherine C. Chan, the Education Supervisor II; Ms. Kristine Joy M. Peralta, Project Technical Staff II; Ms. Daisy Jane B. Nisperos, Project Technical Staff II; and Ms. Eloisa Diana S. De Vera, Project Technical Staff I.
From the PSU side, the meeting was attended and participated in by the Director for Student and Alumni Affairs Prof. Celeste T. Mercado, all campus accountants, registrars and student services coordinators.
Hence, University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas upholds the guiding philosophy that education is geared towards better citizenship and livelihood, declaring education is for all, giving all the necessary access to quality education.
