Pangasinan State University (PSU) and Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC) renewed their five-year partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions on July 5, 2023. The partnership originally began with the first MOU signed on November 4, 2019, which laid the foundation for collaborative academic and research initiatives between PSU and TDC.
TDC was represented by Mr. Vo Long Trieu, President of Thu Duc College of Technology, Vice Presidents of TDC Mr. Pham Quang Tuan, Ms. Pham Ngoc Tuong, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tuan, along with administrators and faculty members of TDC.
Meanwhile, PSU delegates included OIC-Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovation Dr. Razelae Resultay, Dr. Roy Ferrer, Campus Executive Director of PSU Urdaneta City, Dr. Ian Evangelista, Campus Executive Director of PSU Bayambang, Dr. Renato Salcedo, Campus Executive Director of PSU Lingayen, Dr. Randy Joy Ventayen, Director for Research Services, Dr. Ethel Chua, Head of CHED Initiated Quality Assurance Programs, Mr. Rennie Martinez, Director for Account Services, and other administrators and faculty members of PSU.
The event was successfully conducted with the support of PSU President Dr. Elbert Galas, who consistently champions the university’s efforts to expand its global academic linkages and promote collaborative innovation.
The focal persons who spearheaded this event are Ms. Jennifer Parrone (PSU – Urdaneta, Focal Person for Linkages), Dr. Frederick Patacsil (PSU – Urdaneta, Dean – College of Computing), and Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang (TDC, Head of Software Engineering Department).
