  5. OSAA reviews TES implementation in campu...

The Office of the Students and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) kept an eye to the implementation of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) in the Pangasinan State University to monitor the disbursement of grant and other related concerns of the beneficiaries thru evaluation meeting conducted last July 13-14.

Said office is conducting a semestral TES Evaluation among campus coordinators to assure a smooth sailing operation of the subsidy which is a grant-in-aid program under Republic Act 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Law.

The TES is an educational program helping qualified disadvantaged students and those residing and studying in cities and municipalities without public universities to support their studies. For four years, the program is aiding hundreds of students in Pangasinan State University every year to cover education-related expenses.

On the other hand, the office staff with the University Heads under OSAA stretched and limbered up after a whole day’s worth of meeting and discussion to undergo team building activities at the Grenery Villa Resort, Porac, Pampanga.

The team building activity bannered the theme “The Power of Us: Creating Connections, Building Bridges Together” to foster camaraderie and in effect better the interpersonal ties and relationships of its employees.

Seeing its vital role in improving the general climate of the workplace, the activity proved successful as OSAA staff, coordinators and heads were given the time and opportunity to bond, exchange ideas, and have some fun quality time with each other.
