The Pangasinan Provincial Tourism Office proposed its intention to grow and collaborate with the Pangasinan State University, particularly on its Tourism Development Program, Culture and Arts, Community Development, Research and on other initiatives deemed important to several facets of government.

In this connection, a collaborative meeting was held at the PSU Main Audio-Visual Room on September 21, 2022, which was attended by different University and Campus officials – Dr. Dexter Buted, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, Dr. Marcelo D. Gutierrez Jr., Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, and Dr. Ma. Corazon B. Puzon.

Partners from the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs headed by Ms. Malu Elduayan duly represented by Ms. Monika Labaupa, the Tourism Operations Officer, and guests from the Center for Pangasinan Studies headed by Dr. Perla Legaspi, the Executive Director for CPS, were present in the event.

University President Dr. Dexter R. Buted thanked everyone present for another milestone endeavor and shared the objectives and agenda of the meeting.

“Our objective for today is to express or ipakilala kung anong meron ang bawat isa sa atin which will pave the way for what we can accomplish as partners,” Dr. Buted said.

On the other hand, the Executive Director of the Center for Pangasinan Studies Dr. Legaspi extended her warmest gratitude to the university for the collaboration and progress of the whole Province of Pangasinan.

With industry 4.0, Pangasinan State University will continuously initiate the promotion of internal and external collaborations to uplift the quality of services of the university.
Truly, it is more fun in Pangasinan.
