This new appointment follows his recent recognition as Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow at UNITAR International University in Malaysia, roles he assumed in October 2025, showcasing his growing influence in regional and international academia.

Today, this recognition shows that PSU’s leadership stands with the world, proving that our vision for global excellence is not only aspirational—it is being lived,” said Dr. Galas when asked about his thoughts on the recognition.
The appointment at Thu Duc College of Technology acknowledges Dr. Galas’ distinguished academic credentials and professional expertise, particularly in Information Technology, encompassing research, systems development, and digital innovation.
As International Research Fellow, Dr. Galas is expected to strengthen the research capacity and international collaboration initiatives of Thu Duc College of Technology. His responsibilities include leading and participating in collaborative research projects on software engineering, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, information systems, and other emerging digital technologies. He will also provide guidance in systems development and technical innovation, particularly in designing, testing, and implementing IT-based platforms, including web-based, mobile, cloud-based, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems.
Dr. Galas will further contribute to data analytics and artificial intelligence research, providing technical direction on data modeling, visualization, and the ethical use of digital technologies in research-driven applications. Aside from research development, his fellowship includes mentoring faculty, researchers, and students engaged in IT-related studies, conducting or co-facilitating lectures, seminars, and workshops focused on research methodologies, systems development, and emerging technologies.
Thu Duc College of Technology expressed confidence that Dr. Galas’ scholarly engagement and technical expertise will significantly enhance its research initiatives and international partnerships.
