Pangasinan State University, through the Human Resource Management and Development Office, conducted an Orientation on the Wellness Leave Policy and the Proper Accomplishment of the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) and Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) on January 27, 2026, at ASEANA Hall, PSU Golden Lion Hotel.
It aimed to enhance participantsโ understanding of current Civil Service Commission (CSC) policies, promote accurate and timely compliance with mandatory personnel documents, and strengthen accountability and transparency within the University.
The ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐น๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ . ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐, in his message, highlighted that โwell-informed and compliant personnel are the backbone of a trustworthy and high-performing institution,โ. He further noted that compliance with civil service policies is not merely a requirement, but a reflection of PSUโs commitment to ethical governance and responsible public service.

Serving as the resource speaker was ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐ฃ. ๐๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ, Senior Human Resource Specialist of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office I based in La Union, who provided an in-depth discussion on the proper implementation of the Wellness Leave Policy and the correct, truthful, and compliant accomplishment of SALN and PDS. His presentation covered policy guidelines, common errors, compliance risks, and practical steps to ensure adherence to civil service rules and regulations.
The orientation also provided a venue for open discussion, clarification of concerns, and sharing of best practices among campuses, fostering a unified and consistent application of CSC policies across the University system.
This initiative reinforces PSUโs continuous efforts to strengthen institutional compliance and promote a culture of professionalism across all campuses.
