On October 9, 2018, some University officials of Pangasinan State University visited the University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman for a strategic planning session with top university officials of UP held at the University Board Room, Quezon Hall, UP Diliman’s Adminstrative building.
UP’s Executive Vice President (EVP), Dr. Teodoro Herboza, welcomed the PSU delegates headed by Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and Dr. Melody De Vera, Director for Planning.
During the session, Dr. Elvira A. Zamora, UP’s Vice President for Development served as the resource speaker who gave brilliant ideas and useful information about planning.
The participants including all campus executive directors and select directors were further enlightened on specific planning strategies and approaches so that it will reflect the University’s Guiding Philosophy and Mandate.
The group also had a tour on UP Diliman’s current development initiatives in infrastructure like sports facilities, architecture building, education laboratory and library management.
The group was also given the chance visit the Office of the University President, the Office of Dr. Danilo L. Concepcion, UP System’s 21st University President.
