𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 made another history as it ranked as 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟓 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 and 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖𝟔 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧, as recognized by the 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.
Consequently, PSU ranks Number 1 among participating SUCs in Region I.
The recognition was announced today (November 19) during the ‘AppliedHE Xchange: Recognizing Excellence, Diversity and Impact’ event held at the Sunway University in Malaysia.
AppliedHE stated in its website that the ranking measures what is important to students, which include: teaching and learning (40%), employability (15%), research (15%), community engagement (10%), internationalization (10%) and institutional reputation (10%).
It can be remembered that 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 rolled the new quest to submit entry for AppliedHE in June this year to further solidify PSU as an academic institution at par with global universities.
This latest achievement reflects PSU’s dedication to excellence in education, impactful research and assurance that students can land in appropriate workplaces and industries after their graduation.
