The Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension (OVPREI) hosted the virtual 2020 Commodity Review on Gender & Development and Socio-economic Studies on October 27 for the Ilocos Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (ILAARRDEC).
PSU professors Dr. Jocelyn Devera, Prof. Irene De Vera, Dr. Salvacion Vinluan, Dr. Joey Caserial, Prof. Emma Tablada, and Dr. Juliet Nonat-Rivera. Prof. Josephine Cabanding and Prof. Zenaida Cruz showcased their studies on the Gender and Development (GAD) cluster.
A short message was delivered by the University President Dr. Dexter Buted where he addressed the dedication of modern researchers to the society, especially women.
Moreover, GAD Director Dr. Gilbert Moralista acknowledged the participants as he closed the program.
Said event was conducted via Zoom through the leadership of VP Dr. Paulo Cenas and Research Development Office Director Dr. Larry Santos.
