Pangasinan State University, through its Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) led by Dr. Shiela Marie G. Malicdem, shared its best practices with Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) during a benchmarking activity held at the Campus Accreditation Room, PSU Lingayen, on March 4, 2026.
The activity served as a meaningful platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration as both institutions exchanged strategies, training initiatives, best practices and innovative approaches that support CNSC’s pursuit of PRIME-HRM Level III accreditation.
Key discussions during the session focused on strengthening Learning and Development (L&D) systems, enhancing the implementation of the L&D Manual, and recognizing the vital role of employees in sustaining institutional growth and excellence.
Dr. Ma. Angela Josefa G. Pioquinto, Supervising Administrative Officer of CNSC, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to benchmark with PSU and learn from its successful practices.
“We actually really need this benchmarking activity. We identified SUCs that we can partner with and institutions that we truly look up to, and PSU is one of them,” she shared.
This collaborative initiative reflects the strong leadership of University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, whose administration continues to foster a people-centered academic environment while strengthening institutional partnerships.
Through initiatives like this, PSU continues to build meaningful collaborations with state universities and colleges nationwide, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, shared learning, and academic excellence.
