The Pangasinan State University and the University of the Philippines – Los Banos entered into the Specific Activity Agreement (SAA) signing to strengthen the partnership of the two institutions on a Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-funded project.
Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the PSU and UPLB on the project entitled “Value Chain Analysis for Selected Bamboo Products in the Philippines on July 6, 2021, the UPLB team joined PSU Research team for the signing of SAA held at the Audio Visual Room, PSU Lingayen Campus, today, August 14.
As stipulated in the SAA, the agreement will strengthen the partnership of the two parties in conducting the component activities of the project and in securing and adhering to the confidentiality of all proprietary information and intellectual property regarding any and all technologies of PSU and UPLB that are disclosed within the context of the collaboration.
PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas alongside Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and Dr. Randy Joy Ventayen representing Vice President Dr. Razeale G. Resultay for Research, Extension and Innovation Office personally signed the agreement.
The UPLB team was represented by Dr. Felisa L. Malabayabas, project leader.
