A PSUnian student was recently recognized by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Tourism Office of the provincial government of Pangasinan for his timely and relevant dissertation.

Dr. Crisanto Tomeldan, a candidate of Doctor of Education in Educational Management from Pangasinan State University – School of Advanced Studies, officially handed over two copies of his dissertation titled “Special Program in the Arts: Upholding Pangasinan Heritage” to the Province of Pangasinan on June 23, 2025, during the Provincial Board Session.

One copy will be housed at the Provincial Library, while the other will be in the Banaan Museum. His scholarly work was warmly recognized by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Tomeldan was given the opportunity to deliver a public speech in the Session Hall, presided over by Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG Lambino along with the honorable Board Members of Pangasinan.

Dr. Tomeldan was joined by his dissertation adviser, Dr. Armando D. Junio, also the University Director for Special Projects, as he proudly presented his contribution towards preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Pangasinan.
