The Matalunggaring Dance Troupe (MDT) of Pangasinan State University captivated the audience with a remarkable dance and musical performance during the Feast Day celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes at Barangay Salasa in Bugallon last February 5, 2023.
Invited to perform at the Parish’s ‘Dinner for a Cause’ event, the troupe showcased PSU’s dedication to cultural excellence, a sentiment echoed by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Bayani Liguid, who commended the University’s role in developing skilled artists.
Accompanied by Dr. Ramil Dacal, PSU’s Culture and Arts Affairs Director, and Mr. Jordan Neri, Bayambang Campus’ Culture and Arts coordinator, MDT’s performance underscored PSU’s commitment to community involvement, spirituality, and cultural enrichment under the leadership of University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas.
