To prepare for the upcoming accreditation in October 2024, all PSU programs slated for accreditation underwent the 1st and 2nd Final Local Accreditation processes.
The 1st Local Accreditation took place on September 5, 2024, followed by the 2nd Final Local Accreditation on September 17, 2024. This included the following programs: the BSED Science program at Binmaley Campus for the Preliminary Survey Visit (PSV); the School of Advanced Studies’ MS in Agriculture (Animal Science/Crop Science) for the 2nd Survey Visit; the BS in Social Work from Lingayen Campus; the BSEE and BS Architecture from Urdaneta Campus for the 3rd Survey Visit; and the BSED English, Mathematics, and Science programs from Lingayen Campus, along with the BPEd from Bayambang Campus for the 4th Survey Visit.
Additionally, the 1st Local Accreditation for Infanta Campus’ BSED Social Studies program was conducted on September 6, 2024, with the 2nd Final Local Accreditation following on September 18, 2024. This included the BEED Enhanced General Education, BSED English, Mathematics, and Filipino programs from Alaminos City Campus, as well as the BS in Computer Science and BS in Information Technology programs from Lingayen Campus, and the BSCpE Embedded Systems/System Network Administration programs from Urdaneta City Campus for the 3rd Survey Visit. The BSED and BEED Enhanced General Education programs from Asingan Campus were assessed for the 4th Survey Visit.
The accreditation process was led by Prof. William V. Cayetano, Director for Local Accreditation, to ensure compliance with the standards and guidelines set by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
