Best practices and quality mechanisms in the Quality Assurance division were served to Cavite State University (CvSU) as they benchmarked Pangasinan State University, February 22.
The said activity, held at the ASEANA hall and Kalachuchi Hall of PSU Golden Lion hotel, firstly laid out presentation of institutional sustainability assessment practices.
“Through the sharing and presentation of the humble accomplishment here in the university, we hope that you can get a piece of takeaways that you may use in your own institution,” Dr. Manolito C. Manuel, VP for Academic and Student Services shared.
Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza, Vice President for Quality Assurance, also took part in the presentation of best practices on Investors in People (IiP) together with former University President, now VP for Administration, Planning and Finance Management Dr. Dexter R. Buted.
Moreover, the transition from Quality Management System to EOMS undertakings were Director for Local Accreditation, Mr. William Cayetano and the University Document Custodian, Ms. Shiela Marie Malicdem.
Consequently, Dr. Ruby Rosa Cruz, former PSU vice president, together with Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo, Director for Curriculum and Instruction, led the session on Institutional Sustainability Assesment (ISA) in the said ‘meeting of minds’.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mary Jane D. Tepora, VP for Planning and Development of Cavite State University, thanked PSU for its valuable efforts.
“It’s not our first time to benchmark PSU’s best practices and every time we step in, we learn something new. Kami ay minahal ng PSU nuon pa lalo na ng aming mga mentors sa PQA. Maasahan talaga ang PSU,” Dr. Tepora added.
As the first quarter of the year opens, PSU led by Dr. Galas, continues the quest of significant involvement for quality leadership through the welcoming of institutions for benchmarking activities, elevating quality mechanisms and best practice to higher era.
