The Pangasinan State University congratulates its five thousand seven hundred sixty-four (5,764) graduates for the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022. Three hundred twenty six (326) of these were graduates under the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) which comprises 5.66% of the overall number of graduates.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) is an undergraduate teacher education degree program designed to prepare individuals intending to teach in the elementary education whereas Early Childhood Education (BECEd) program is designed to prepare students for teaching and supporting young children’s development. The two (2) degree programs prepare students who can teach at primary school level in the country or abroad. Moreover, these programs are being offered in Alaminos City Campus, Asingan Campus, Bayambang Campus, Infanta Campus, San Carlos City Campus, Sta. Maria Campus and City Campus.

According to UNICEF, “Primary education forms the bedrock of development.” It is in the early school years that children acquire foundational skills and basic understanding of various subjects that prepare them for life, work, and active citizenship. The Pangasinan State University unites in building a strong nation as it helps in shaping holistic young individuals who will become the next leaders and builders of this country. PSU also supports in improving the awareness of these young learners and opens the door of multiple learning opportunities by producing qualified and globally competent primary school teachers.
