The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) awarded Pangasinan State University (PSU) with a new set of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its various degree programs, marking another milestone in the University’s pursuit of academic excellence.

The recognition was conferred by PSU Governing Board Chairperson, Commissioner Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari of CHED in the presence of the Members of the PSU Board of Regents: Cong. Maria Rachel J. Arenas who represented Cong. Jude A. Acidre for Congress and Atty. Asmenah Barambangan (online) who represented Senator Loren Legarda for the Senate, Faculty Regent Ace John Mark Liwanag and Student Regent Charry May Santos,
during the PSU Board of Regents Regular Meeting held on November 25, 2025 in Manila.

𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 personally received the award together with the University’s Vice Presidents along with Solicitor-General Atty. James Lee Cundangan and CHED -1 Regional Director Dr. Cherrie Diego
Dr. Galas expressed that the recognition reflects PSU’s realization to quality and its collective effort toward continuous improvement.

To date, PSU is recognized with 100% COPC for its undergraduate programs and 87% for its graduate programs.
