The College of Teacher Education in cooperation with the Social Work Department conducted the ‘Phase I Extension Training on Action Research for Indigenous Community (Project Writeby-Four)’ at Malico National High School San Nicolas, Pangasinan on September 26, 2023. This research-based extension activity was led by the proponent and extension leader, Dr. Jun S. Camara together with the faculty members of CTE and the Social Work Department of Pangasinan State University – Lingayen Campus.

To equip the teaching force and students of the adopted school with a tasked-based approach in research writing, the lecture ‘4AA Model in Research Writing for High School: An Introduction’ was discussed by Dr. Rhegina F. Tubera and Dr. Jun S. Camara. Moreover, Mr. Great I Am W. C. Gismundo tackled ‘Classroom Management in Indigenous Communities’. Workshops were also done as part of the activity.

This Phase I is part of the series of trainings under Project Write-by-Four initiated by the College of Teacher Education in partnership with Malico National High School as the adopted school.

Indeed, through instruction, research extension and production, we serve mankind with pride!
