Dynamic convergence unfolded as Pangasinan State University, together with other higher education institutions took part in the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Annual Convention 2023 on August 9-11.
It is in this gathering that PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, together with other SUC leaders showed united aspiration to the endeavors of the PASUC as they engaged and intertwined on the said convention held at Pasay City’s SMX Convention Center.
“In a wide perspective, a convention like this doesn’t only provide an avenue in formulating timely and relevant intervention for HEIs. This also offers a beneficial platform to establish good relationship among SUC partners,” Dr. Galas said.
Aptly themed as “Fostering Innovation and Collaboration in SUCs towards Increasing Competitiveness and Sustainability”, this year’s convention highlighted the establishment of an inclusive platform where diverse stakeholders can foreground different perspectives and engage in collaborative discussions.
PASUC convention 2023, headed by its Association President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, also aimed to explore various approaches to enhance SUC programs and initiatives, with a particular focus on Innovation, Knowledge Creation, Intellectual Capital, Strategic Partnership, and Multi-level Collaboration, all integral in increasing competitiveness and sustainability.
National agency leaders also took part as keynote speakers on the said three-day event.
