Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Directors and Focal Persons from different Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) around the country convened virtually via zoom for the Public Consultation on the Draft Enhanced Policies, Standards and Guidelines for the Implementation of ETEEAP for Undergraduate degree programs on June 8, 2021.
The said activity is under the Office of the Programs and Standards Development of the
Commission on Higher Education (CHED) headed by Director Cherrie Melanie Ancheta-Diego. Dr. Phillip G. Queroda, PSU ETEEAP Director attended in behalf of the University. Salient proposed provisions in the enhanced PSG for undergraduate ETEEAP include the scholarship or assistance grants, consortium opportunities, integration of flexible learning, more learning platforms, lowering the minimum age requirement to 23 years, and others.
The enhanced CMO is expected to be released this year. At present, PSU ETEEAP offers five (5) deputized programs namely: Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor in Industrial Technology, Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
