Libraries provide another space for everyone to learn, navigate the internet, offer quiet area for study and encourage everyone to access and read print and non-print educational materials.

The Pangasinan State University Library provides information resources and services to faculty, students, researchers, and administrative staff for instructional and scholarly inquiry that will promote liberal learning, education for services, training for careers and development of lifelong learning skills. PSU library aims to be more responsive to the academic needs and research demands of its clientele by providing a user-friendly and accessible print and non-print collections used in the instruction, research, extension, and production of the university, conducting and marketing library programs and services that will promote information literacy and lastly, by providing improved physical facilities and up-to-date technical equipment for efficient and effective library services.

While distance learning becomes more acceptable and accessible these days through technology, flexibility and convenience of library users are taken into account in order to access educational resources at their own pace and schedule. PSU’s library electronic resources subscription includes: Vital Source, GALE, Digital Media Learning, Philippine E-journals, Perlego, Pressreader and Philippine EbookHub. Moreover, the library also offers open access to: EBSCO Open Dissertations, Proquest Open Access Dissertations & Thesis, ScienceDirect, Philippine Journal of Science, Phil CHEd Connect, DOST E-Library, Academia, Starbooks, Galileo, Open Textbook Library, Directory of Open Access Journals, Directory of Open Access Books, Project Gutenberg, OER Commons and PSU research journals.

PSUnians are encouraged to seek assistance from their campus librarians for tutorials regarding the effective use of these e-resources and selected Open Educational Resources (OER).
