The two academic leaders engaged in insightful discussions, beneficial learning and sharing of best practices in the management of the respective SUCs which they shepherd.
Dr. Ronquillo, also an ASEAN Engineer, wanted to personally see how SUCs in Region 1 are doing after the wrath of super typhoon Carina in North Luzon.
The meeting of the two presidents was also an offshoot of the BatSU delegation visit for the Academic Bridging program (see separate story) at PSU Urdaneta City Campus on July 22.
Incidentally, Dr. Ronquilloโs visit coincided with the benchmarking activity of the University of Rizal Systems, where he joined Dr. Galas and the URS group for a short discussion.
Dr. Galas later on toured Dr. Ronquillo to the Golden Lion Hotel, the IGP project of PSU, which was lauded by the PASUC President. They were joined by PSUโs Vice Presidents- Dr. Jenylyn Oboza (OVPAFM) and Prof. Celeste Mercado (OVPQA).
