On December 4, 2023, the PSU LC community joined the Philippine Army’s Civil-Military Operations Unit and Reserve Command, along with support from the Provincial Government and Lingayen LGU, for a coastal clean-up at Lingayen Beach. This initiative, aimed at supporting SDG 14 (Life Below Water), focused on removing waste while raising environmental awareness.
The clean-up drive encouraged participants to reflect on the impact of human actions on marine ecosystems, promoting a sense of environmental responsibility. Through this local action, the PSU community and its partners demonstrated how collective efforts can contribute to global ocean health that highlights the importance of preserving coastal environments.
