NAFSA , formerly called National Association of Foreign Student Advisers, now known as NAFSA- Association of International Educators, is the world’s largest association dedicated to international education and exchange.
The annual conference and exposition united leaders, learners and changemakers from more than a hundred countries to discover the latest innovations, new strategies and best practices in education as well as build lasting relationships with peers and experts.
University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas and Vice President Dr. Ian D. Evangelista of the Local and International Affairs, represented PSU in the event that aims to explore innovative approaches, introduce trends in professional development and underscore the importance of inclusive internationalization for long-term impact on the campus, local and global communities.
Part of PSU’s participation is to build networks thus the conduct of the signing of Memorandum of Understanding with various universities that include: Isparta University of Applied Sciences from Türkiye (Turkey) and the Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University (AYBU) in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, plus a visit to the San Diego State University (SDSU) and University of California – San Diego.
With the addition of international partners, PSU prepares future educators — the students — to be locally grounded, regionally connected and internationally ready to thrive in diverse learning environments.
