The Pangasinan State University, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Office, expressed commitment to women empowerment during the culminating activity of Women’s Month celebration, May 6.
Donned in their purple shirts, PSUnians led by the University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, gathered at Don Telesforo N. Boquiren Convention Hall, at the Main campus.

The Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovation (OVP-REI), Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, highlighted the significance of the celebration of acknowledging the roles of women in the community.
Dr. Resultay labeled women as advocates of ‘𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒏.’
Giving of certificates for attendees and awardees of various events of the month-long celebration was also featured in the said event.
Dr. Romary R. Lincod, Director for Gender and Development, wholeheartedly extended her gratitude and appreciation to all committees in the successful 2024 women’s month celebration.
Other attendees in the culminating activity were campus executive directors, GAD coordinators, PSU personnel and students. It was also broadcasted through Facebook live.
