  5. PSU FOR ALL: Making Education More Inclu...

Disability is one of the most serious barriers to education across the globe. Robbed of their right to learn, students with disabilities are often denied the chance to take part in their communities, the workforce and the decisions that most affect them.

In this conversation between a university admission officer and a student with a disability, the student, Reynalyn Ignacio, has been admitted to PSU in the Public Administration program.

Reynalyn expresses gratitude for being accepted at PSU, mentioning it was her only choice of school and highlighting her appreciation for being accepted despite her disability. The admission officer acknowledges the accommodation provided by PSU and warmly welcomes Reynalyn to the PSU family, encouraging her to excel in her studies.

Pangasinan State University’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting students with disabilities is a reminder to all educational institutions that the journey of education should be accessible to all, regardless of one’s background or abilities. With conversations like this, we move one step closer to building a world where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their educational dreams.
