PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas shared that university offices are now refined with quality processes that go beyond the standard.
“I am happy that the offices in the university are now fully equipped with quality mechanisms that help them innovate their operations,” President Galas said.
The benchmarking activity was led by Vice President for Administration and Finance Management Dr. Jeanilyn L. Villanueva, Director for Production and Auxiliary Services Dr. Narciso F. Castro, and GLH General Manager Dr. Jerry L. Ceballos Jr.
“As we talk about benchmarking, we should be MIND (Motivated, Innovative process owners, Navigators of strategies, and Dreamers of sustainability and success). We are happy to have you here at PSU,” Dr. Villanueva said in her welcome message.
Meanwhile, discussions covered topics such as staffing schemes, student involvement in hotel operations, payment modalities, and concessionaire agreements.
Ms. Marianne Grace Lasam expressed her appreciation to PSU for an engaging and fruitful exchange of best practices. “We will bring home all the quality mechanisms we learned today,” the IGP Coordinator said.
Also present during the activity were PRIO Director Venus May H. Sarmiento, Head for Housekeeping Services Dr. Senando M. Evangelista, and GLH office managers.
