The Pangasinan State University-Infanta Campus, together with the 7 different government agencies, conducted a job fair that transpired today, June 15, 2023, at the PSU-IC gymnasium.
The activity was formally started by Coordinator and Student Services, Maβam Procerfina D. Vingua, as she gave her warm opening remarks to everyone who was present at the said job fair.
Afterwards, the Municipal Government Department Head I (PESO Manager), Mrs. Mildred Hernandez, stated the purpose why they conducted such a job fair, which is to offer job opportunities to students that they want to apply for after their graduation and also to other interested applicants who want to apply to the different jobs being presented.
Government agencies like PAG-IBIG, Social Security System (SSS), and PhilHealth offered free service by helping students register their accounts, which includes what required documents they need to pass and when and where to claim their respective IDs.
Meanwhile, the ASA Philippines Foundation, Sta. Cruz Savings and Development Cooperative (SACDECO), Infanta, Maxim de Human International Inc., and Alorica Philippines give job opportunities to graduating students (top priority) and other interested applicants outside the premises prior to the vacancies that their company needs to fill.
The said event ended with Maβam Catherine Lumanta giving her closing remarks.
