The Pangasinan State University joined the culmination event for the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary as it spearheaded different activities in the University on September 29.
PSU, led by University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, through the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), facilitated the conduct of thanksgiving mass, one-stop shops for partner agencies and commemoration program highlighting the importance of upholding public service excellence.
Representing Dir. Flordeliza C. Bugtong, Director II for CSC-FO Western Pangasinan was Dr. Lorena B. Echalar, Director for PSU-HRMDO during the commemoration program.
“This celebration is a reminder for us to always demonstrate public service values on PIES. These are Performance, Integrity, Excellence and Spirituality. And as the leading unit in the University in promulgating these aspects, we encourage all PSUnians to observe these values toward excellent service delivery,” Dr. Echalar said.
Meanwhile, One-Stop-Shops present in the event to extend immediate and real-time services were agencies: China Bank Savings (CBS)-Lingayen Branch, Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund)-Dagupan Branch, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS)-Dagupan Branch, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-Regional Office I, and Social Security System (SSS)-Alaminos Branch.
PSU officials present in the event were Lingayen Campus Executive Director Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, QA Coordinator Mr. Ivan C. Quitlong and Ms. Leizel M. Del Castillo for the non-teaching force.
The activity was also conducted simutaneously in all campuses of PSU.
Pangasinan State University continues to live up to the mantra of quality service delivery being the recipient of Prime-HRM Bronze Award in 2020, a conferment given by CSC to agencies for having managed and implemented their HR management systems according to documented processes.
