โThe University Roadmap serves as the overarching framework to guide university-wide and campus-wide development priorities that is why it is imperative that we review and revisit the scope and processes to synchronize activities and directions,โ President Galas said during the event held at the audio-visual room of the Main campus.
Dr. Galas added that each Campus LUDIP was conceptualized differently, according to their environmental settings which emphasize the thrusts.
Present during this event were university vice presidents, campus executive directors and the University Planning Office personnel which spearheads the collation of the plans.
The orientation is in adherence to Republic Act 11396 also known as the โSUCs LUDIP Act’ which mandates all SUCs to prepare and implement their LUDIP to improve and optimally utilize their resources.
It can be remembered that PSU is the first SUC in Region I to submit its LUDIP to the CHED Central office. It is one of seven SUCs with a LUDIP in the country back in 2021.
