𝐏𝐒𝐔 second cluster graduates march to triumph in 45th commencement rites

Upholding its tradition of excellence, Pangasinan State University witnessed 𝟏,𝟕𝟖𝟔 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐲 as they bring their college journey to a close during the 𝟒𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐒𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐃𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟕.

This year’s 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟏,𝟑𝟖𝟖 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟑𝟔𝟑 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫. The other 𝟑𝟓 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬. Notably, 𝟏𝟐𝟎 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟗 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬.

Themed, 𝘗𝘚𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘨, 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘱, 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵: 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘺𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴, the graduation rites displayed a dignified march of graduates from Cluster B, as well as the awarding of diplomas and medals for academic and non-academic distinctions.

University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, in his speech, which demonstrated that his visionary leadership extends beyond education, reminded the scholars to uphold the values that the university has instilled in them throughout their college journey to become part of the nation’s sustainable growth.

For this cluster, Undersecretary Ferdinand C. Jumapao of the Department of Tourism, served as the guest of honor and speaker, who congratulated the graduates, their parents and PSU.

Meanwhile, presenting the graduates with credence, Dr. Gudelia M. Samson and Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones, campus executive directors of Bayambang and Binmaley Campuses, respectively, pledged to the university officials that the class is poised to serve and commit to the betterment of the community, industry, and society.

Garnering the highest general weighted average among all latin awardees in this cluster, 𝐀𝐥𝐲𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐅. 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, was awarded by 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.

The venue, filled with hues of gold and blue, reverberated with voices of gratitude as PSUnians passionately sang the PSU Hymn, expressing their gratitude for the university they call home.

The ceremony, which is one for the university’s books, concluded with the highly anticipated 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘺 toss, a sash of honor, signifying that the higher the sashes were propelled, the higher the graduates would mount in their lives.
