Pollution Control Officers (PCOs) of the Campuses and the Golden Lion convened to discuss various agenda in the meeting held on May 10.
PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas led the meeting at the Audio-Visual Room of the Main Campus, emphasizing the need for a clean and safe working environment by implementing proper and organized mechanisms in each campus.

President Galas encouraged the officers in the utilization of water refilling station in the nine campuses to support and to promote health protocols among PSUnians.
Focuses of the discussion in the meeting include compliance to DENR or Department of Environment and Natural Resources criteria, accreditation requirements of campus PCOs, creation of technical working committee and refinement of MOAs with the LGUS.
The Head for Waste Management and Pollution Control, Dr. Lina T. Cancino, and the Director for General Services, Dr. Robert G. Sison chaired the said regular meeting alongside Dr. Galas.
PSU, in the promotion of sustainability, gives great efforts in maximizing resources and practices on the talk towards waste management and pollution control benefiting the larger community.
