The 𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 said that through this event, becoming an industry-driven university may be addressed especially on the initial steps of the quest, curricula alignment.

Spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Academics and Student Services led by the 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐂. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 and in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovatoon led by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐲, the said event capacitated faculty members from the nine campuses of PSU with the necessary skills.
VP Manuel showed gratitude in this endeavor of innovative transition from an old to transformative, resilient and responsive curricula. The VP for Quality Assurance, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐓. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨, also participated in the said event.
During the event, highly esteemed resource speakers were invited to facilitate the said two-day conference.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬- 𝐋𝐨𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐬, his one-day talk on the second day, centered his talk on the Introduction to the ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework (AQRF) and Philippine Qualifications Framework, and Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) and Alignment or Industry-Driven Excellence.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃. 𝐉𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬, 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, kick-started the first day on his talk, ‘The Academe-Industry Interplay: Curricular Enhancements through Integration of the UN-SDGs.’
