The Pangasinan State University led by University President, Dr. Elbert Galas , showed support to the teaching force of the university and engaged in instructional materials seminar.
The event, spearheaded by the Office of the Learning and Instructional Material Development, a unit under the Division of the Office of the Vice President for Academics and Student Services led by VP Manolito C. Manuel, gathered faculty members in the nine campuses through an online seminar, March 3, 2025.
Dubbed as “Empowering Educators: Understanding the Format, Content and Legal Aspects of Learning and Instructional Materials,” faculty members were equipped with understanding on IMs with education experts.
“This seminar will ensure best practices to enhance educators’ ability to develop instructional materials that align with both pedagogical and legal standards,” Dr. Myra C. Catungal the Head for IM Development, said.
The seminar’s speakers were Atty. Benedict A. Fernandez of PSU Lingayen, Dr. Romary R. Lincod the GAD Director for PSU, and Prof. Niña Christina L. Zamora of Philippine Normal University.
The host venue of the event was held at the holding room of the Conventional Hall of PSU Lingayen Campus. Directors and Heads from the OVPASS were also present – Dr. Jessica J. Jimenez, Dr. Jocelyn C. Abalos, Assoc. Prof. Mary Ann C. Macaranas, Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo, and Dr. Milleohnes DG. Reyes.
