The first month of 2024 opened the door of Pangasinan State University traversing Agricultural Research pursuits.
PSU’s delegation headed by Mr. Ace John Mark P. Liwanag, Faculty Regent, paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Agriculture (DA) – Bureau of Agricultural Research Director Junel B. Soriano in January 11.
Mr. Liwanag alongside Dr. Oliver C. Caasi, Head for Integrated Agriculture Research Center and Dr. Renee Christopher C. Cacho, Faculty member of Agriculture Department, joined Dir. Soriano at the Research and Development Management Information Center (RDMIC) Building, Quezon City.
The talks of the two institutions centered on the ongoing research undertaking of the university. Potential collaborations for advancing agricultural practices and sustainable development within their community were also discussed.
Social and environmental responsiveness, one of PSU’s CORE Values, is truly manifested through research, collaboration and partnership and support from the university led by PSU President Dr. Elbert M. Galas.
