The Pangasinan State University Golden Lions showed off the vibrance of spirited minds and motivated athletic enthusiasm in the parade prelude to the opening of SCUAA 2024, Monday.
Five competing State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region 1 joined the said summer olympics at DMMMSU- South La Union Campus in Agoo in the province of La Union.
Several guests of honor in the province graced the event, together with University Presidents of MMSU, DMMMSU, PSU, UNP and ISPSC.
Representing PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, was Vice President for Administration and Finance Management, Dr. Jenylyn Oboza.
OIC VP for Quality Assurance Prof. Celeste Mercado, Campus Executive Directors and university officials were also present together with the 371 PSU student athletes in the opening event.
Meanwhile, Angela Jorge Resurrecion, national player for women’s basketball, joined the four other SUC representatives in lighting the olympic torch.
