“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
As part of the Earth Day Celebration, the Supreme Student Council of PSU Lingayen Campus, together with the 15 accredited student organizations, conducted and launched a tree-growing project entitled “PALAKAY” on April 28, 2022, at Barangay Capandanan, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
The SSC officers and their adviser, together with representatives from different organizations, participated in this project. The candidates for Drag Race PSU 2022 and Taraki tan Limgas na PSU 2022 also graced the said project.
This PALAKAY: Tree-growing project strives to aid the environment in response to changing times. The project’s goal was to get the community and the organization to support and protect the environment in order to avoid the negative consequences of climate change.
