𝐏𝐒𝐔, 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐎𝐀 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Towards strengthened Local Government Units, PSU takes an active role in realizing DILG’s mandate to establish and formulate plans to bolster LGU’s technical capabilities in crafting multisectoral, risk-informed Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP). 

DILG’s Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) led by  Assist. Program Manager, Reggie R. Colisao, CESO V and her team met with OIC-Office of the University President/VP for Administration and Linkages Office Dr. Elbert M. Galas and University officials to outline provisions  of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will concretize PSU as a Local Resource Institute (LRI). LRIs are verified institutions to provide short courses and technical assistance for the formulation of an upscaled and risk-informed CDP. 

To recall, DILG’s first meeting with the University last May 18, 2021, underscored the appointment of the latter as an LRI and the proposed offering of CDP-making short courses.

Also present in the meeting were      PSU      officials: Dr. Manolito C. Manuel (VP for Academic & Student Affairs Office), Atty. Darius B. De Guzman (Director, University Legal Services Office), Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventayen (Director, PRPIO), Prof. Celeste T. Mercado (Director, Students and Alumni Affairs Office), Dr. Madlyn D. Tingco (Director, Planning Office), Ms. Leizel M. Castillo (Focal Person, Investors in People).
