With a common goal of advancing internationalization mechanisms, Pangasinan State University (PSU) welcomed Isabela State University (ISU) for a benchmarking activity on October 24, 2025.

PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, shared the academe’s involvement in the international arena through curriculum enhancement, industry collaboration and community engagement.
“The university provides numerous programs for student and faculty mobility through partner agencies abroad. It is a way to equip PSUnians with quality international standards,” President Galas said.

The Office of the Vice President for Local and International Affairs, led by Dr. Ian D. Evangelista, where the Internationalization, Information, and personnel mobility offices are anchored, welcomed the delegation of ISU.

Directors, Ms. Liezel Del Castillo for International Relations Office, Ms. Venus May H. Sarmiento for Public Relations and Information Office, and Dr. Krigher C. Simbulan, Head for Faculty and Student Mobility led the sharing of best practices in the said benchmarking activity.

ISU head of delegation, Dr. Joan T. Ruiz, expressed gratitude to the PSU team for a fruitful exchange of practices aimed at helping both academic institutions refine their respective processes.

Truly, PSU continues to show its support not only for its personnel but also for the community and partner institutions whose commitment to quality remains evident.
