With teacher education as one of the flagship programs of Pangasinan State University, the university shared practices with Marinduque State University, December 1, 2025 via online platform.

PSU welcomed Marinduque SU for a benchmarking activity to share established processes implemented in the academic institution.

PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, said that quality standards in teacher education program are crucial at it serves as pathway of producing future educators which will mold the next generations.

Meanwhile, Director for Presidential Management and Liaison Office, Dr. Juan Primitivo P. Petrola, shared the importance of innovations in the curriculum to meet the standards of the changing education landscape.

The virtual meeting talks centered on internationalization partnerships among student-teachers, funding for student and faculty mobility and attainment of Center-of-Excellence status.

MSU President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, gave a heartfelt message for the university for a united effort towards providing quality education for all.

MSU delegation was led by the Assoc. Dean, Dr. Susan B. Pineda. PSU counterparts were CED for Lingayen, Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones, Dr. Erna Salazar (representing VP Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo), PRIO Director, Ms. Venus May H. Sarmiento, Dr. Randy F. Soriano, Mr. Mark Marlon De Vera, and Ms. Alexies Claire R. Raoet.
