Pangasinan State University–Alaminos City Campus (PSU-ACC) held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Campus Academic Building on January 8, 2026, marking the start of another infrastructure project aimed at strengthening the campus’ academic facilities.
𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗠. 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘀
led the groundbreaking ceremony along with Campus Executive Director Dr. Liza L. Quimson, as witnessed by the teaching and non-teaching personnel and student organization representatives.
Dr. Galas, in his message, emphasized the university’s continued support for campus development initiatives, highlighting the administration’s commitment to improving learning spaces and facilities across the university.
In response, Dr. Quimson described the groundbreaking as a positive step forward for the campus and expressed hope for more infrastructure developments lined up for PSU-ACC in the coming years.
Present during the ceremony were Dr. Celeste T. Mercado, Vice President for Quality Assurance; Dr. Arcelli Adorascion G. Ramos, Head of the Audit Team; and Dr. Randy Ventayen, Director for International Accreditation.
The Engineering Department, led by Engr. Razil Reyes, also took part in the activity.
The groundbreaking formally signaled the beginning of construction for the new Campus Academic Building, which is expected to provide additional classrooms and academic spaces to accommodate the growing campus population.
