Infrastructure projects will soon materialize in the PSU campuses following the rigorous checking of proposed projects for succeeding years.
Pangasinan State University, led by its President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, led the meeting along with planning officers and campus executive directors for the finalization of all campus’ list of infrastructure projects for inclusion in the Three-Year Rolling Infrastructure Program (TRIP) covering FYs 2027-2029.
“Facilities and infrastructures are crucial in promoting quality and holistic education. They should not merely be buildings, but well-constructed, functional and beneficial structures,” the PSU President said.
According to the University’s Planning Office, the President wants the upcoming infrastructure projects to be aligned with PSU’s updated mission and vision. The recent meeting and planning session, therefore, marks a major step toward re-aligning and effectively implementing these projects.
“The University President wants to personally review the proposed projects to ensure more thorough and meaningful consultations regarding their progress. Alongside this initiative is the launching of the roll-out meeting with various campuses,” added PSU Planning Officer, Gregorio F. Delos Angeles.
From the said meetings, the complete project proposals of the finalized list shall be submitted prior its encoding in the PIPol System of the Department of Economy, Planning and Development.
True enough, PSU San Carlos City Campus officials led by CED Gudelia M. Samson, PSU Alaminos City Campus officials led by CED Dr. Liza L. Quimson, and PSU Infanta Campus officials led by CED Dr. Ramil L. Dacal, along with the Vice President for Administration and Finance Management, Jeanilyn L. Vilanueva, and PSU Planning Officer Mr. Delos Angeles, Jr. took part in the first roll-out of deliberation slated October 29 and November 4.
The remaining TRIP meeting with other campuses will be conducted on November 10-11, 2025.
