Showcasing the beauty and diversity of Pangasinan, the third day of PSU PRIME Camp brought the campers to the breathtaking Hundred Islands in Alaminos City
The return to Earth, quite literally, was made through an environmental immersion at the scenic landmark and one of the most visited tourist spots of Pangasinan.
“It is said that communities rise and fall depending on how people treat the land.
Leadership means protecting the forests and the seas not because its fashionable -but because our future depends on it,” Vice President Dr. Ian Evangelista of the Local and International Affairs Division.
Basking at the beauty of Hundred islands, the campers and co-learners have personally witnessed the cleanliness of the islands and the protection of nature as ensured by the city government of Alaminos led by Mayor Arth Bryan Celeste.
Lending full support to the PRIME Camp endeavor are the Provincial Government of Pangasinan led by Governor Ramon ‘Mon-Mon Guico III and First District Representative Arthur Celeste. The Philippine National Police (PNP) provincial and city personnel were also present all throughout the travels.
