On December 12, 2023, Pangasinan State University’s Office of the University System (OUS), in partnership with the Office of Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), brought the holiday spirit to over 200 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) at the Pangasinan Provincial Jail through the “To PDLs with Love: A Christmas Gift-Giving Extension Activity.”
The event featured parlor games, raffle draws, and the distribution of Christmas packages, including hygiene kits, groceries, and food packs, to brighten the PDLs’ holiday season.
PSU OUS Executive Director Dr. Phillip G. Queroda expressed the university’s commitment to support and inspire the PDLs, with plans for continued outreach.
