“It is a commitment to promote the health, well-being and morale of our non-teaching employees and also an initiative to celebrate ‘Education Support Personnel Day,’ gift of appreciation for the invaluable service and contributions of our non-teaching staff,” the association writes.
University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas who was represented by Vice President Celeste T. Mercado, commended the hardwork of all non-teaching personnel of Pangasinan State University.
“Sa likod ng bawat tagumpay ng ating unibersidad ay ang mga taong hindi man palaging nasa harap, pero palaging nandiyan na tahimik na kumikilos, patuloy na nagsisilbi at buong pusong tumutulong upang maging maayos at matagumpay ang bawat araw natin dito sa PSU,” Dr. Mercado shared.
Meanwhile, personnel of PSU Main Office and Lingayen Campus were gathered at the Golden Lion Hotel for a program in the morning and a pampering session in the afternoon.
Financial literacy, and updates on Philhealth and GSIS benefits comprised the forum. Body massage, manicure and pedicure, random blood sugar monitoring, and giving of toothbrush were free services enjoyed by the attendees.
The university’s NTEA thanked the support extended by the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Philhealth, GSIS, and Maxima Technical and Skills Training Institute, INC. The association is led by its President, Mr. Michael P. Arquillano.
Other PSU systems also put up programs in their respective campuses led by the CEDs.
