The region’s premier university of choice clinched the Number 1 spot in the University Branding and Reputation Category and got the third spot both in Student Support and Engagement and SDG- Based Responses for Global Challenges.

University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas, who initiated PSU’s quest for WURI, shared that beyond the rankings, what truly matters is the universityβs commitment to innovation, one that leads to better services and meaningful change in the lives of the communities it serves.
The Quality Assurance Division led by Vice President Celeste Mercado, which spearheads the submission of entries for WURI, expressed gratitude to the four Campus Executive Directors- Dr. Renato Salcedo. Dr. Liza Quimson, Dr. Roy Ferrer and Dr. Madlyn Tingco who served as chairpersons of the entries, the technical working group and the entire PSU team for another job well done.
The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) evaluates universities based on their real-world impact on industry and society. It highlights innovation in education, research, and community engagement.
